Many Chinese families have benefited from the National Assistance System for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Children since its establishment in 2018. In Gansu, designated Rehabilitation Institutions for Disabled Children have increased from 30 to 205 over the past years.
The Provincial Government also invests over 43 million Yuan annually to support the Rehabilitation Institutions, and that figure is expected to increase to 63 million Yuan in 2024. Some cities and counties further adopt diverse development models, including Public-Private Partnerships, to include more Disabled Children aged between 6 and 17 in the Rehabilitation Assistance System.
With the efforts of Hongmeng Disabled Persons’ Service Centre, over 20 children have returned to Primary School, more than 30 have integrated into regular schools, and over 10 gained employment in restaurants after turning 18.

Meanwhile, at least three people were killed and 20 others wounded in an Israeli bombardment targeting a house owned by the Abu Jiyab family in the Abu Eskandar area, north of Gaza City, according to medics.
Moreover, the Palestinian civil defense service said that several people were killed and wounded in homes destroyed by Israeli warplanes on Yafa Street, east of Gaza City.
Earlier in the day, the civil defense service spokesperson Mahmoud Basal reported that 84 dead were transported to Al-Muamalat Hospital in Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes in the recent hours.
The government’s Media Office Director Ismael Al-Thawabteh told reporters on Sunday that more than 700 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza during the last 24 hours.
WAFA correspondents in Gaza reported that rescue crews have so far relied on manual and primitive methods to dig out the bodies, in light of the lack of machinery and equipment to remove the rubble.
