Trump Creates US 5th Column Spy-Network in Greenland! (29.8.2025)

The Danish Foreign Ministry confirmed that Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen summoned the U.S. charge d’affaires on Wednesday for talks regarding the reports.

Since taking office earlier this year, Trump has repeatedly expressed interest in gaining control of Greenland, stating he would not rule out the use of “military or economic coercion” to achieve that goal.

The Danish Security and Intelligence Service told media that Greenland has increasingly been the target of influence campaigns aimed at creating tension between Copenhagen and Nuuk, Greenland’s capital.

Greenland, a former Danish colony, became an integral part of the Kingdom of Denmark in 1953. It was granted home rule in 1979, expanding its autonomy, though Denmark retains authority over foreign affairs and defense.

Peter Wyles Blog – Paignton: Strength Through Peace & Happiness – the Explorers Return! (28.8.2025)

My Dad types with one-hand – his left – so it takes hours just to produce a single (simple) post. This does not stop his drive – despite being 82-years old! Hope springs eternal. I like to share his blog-post to a larger audience – as I think wisdom is magnified through its sharing! Diane Wyles took this photograph and digitally enhanced it for social media usage. Dad has included a poem by Dylan Thomas – and reiterates the fact that we must continue to fight the oppression that runs through the centre of UK culture. Whilst doing this – we can do this on our own terms. Those with power can do whatever they won’t to – but whilst our bodies are being oppressed (and are choices taken away) – we can retain whatever attitude we wish to have. So be it. We will fight and die on our own terms – this is a right that cannot be taken away.

China: Legacy of WWII Concentration Camp honours Friendship & Peace! (28.8.2025)

During the event, Stanley met Han Chongbin, an 80-year-old whose father once aided expatriates at the Weihsien concentration camp.

“At that time, out of pity for the internees, my father spent his own money to buy candy and brought eggs from home, managing to send them into the concentration camp. In return, the internees dismantled an iron bed and sent it out,” Han said. “He never expected that his help would be ‘rewarded.'”

In 2019, Han donated the iron bed to the museum. Now a museum volunteer, he shares stories about that period of history with visitors.

With the help of translators, he and Stanley shared a heartfelt conversation, holding hands like old friends. “Peace is our common aspiration,” Stanley said.

“Remembering suffering is not perpetuating hatred; it is igniting the beacon of hope for the future,” said Ayo Ayoola-Amale, vice chair of the governing council of International Cities of Peace.

“Weifang’s commitment to preserving this legacy — establishing the camp’s memorial museum, inviting descendants of survivors to return, and educating younger generations with truth — epitomizes the deepest practice of peace. Such courage deserves global recognition,” she said.

Universal Postal Union [UNU]: 25 Countries Suspend Postal Services to US Over Tariffs! (28.8.2025)

Korea Post said it will halt sending air parcels and some express mail services to the U.S. starting Tuesday, while keeping premium services, operated via private couriers, available subject to customs duties.

Other countries including France, Britain, Germany, Italy, India, Australia, and Japan, also announced the suspension.

The U.S. media outlet NPR said eliminating de minimis shipments would hurt poorer Americans the most and — presaging the headaches that logistics companies are encountering this week — would be “an administrative nightmare,” citing a report released by the U.S. think tank Cato Institute.

North Devon: St Peter’s Church – Bratton Fleming! (26.8.2025)

This must be the most spectacular integration of religion and secularism. I never thought I would live to see the Church of England finally give-up their last line of sanctity and allow all and sundry to stay as many nights as they can afford – and do whatever they like during their stay – providing the interior of the Church is not damaged. As an academic who uses the average Church as an early form of a search-engine – I find this a fascinating opportunity – albeit slightly disturbing and a little bizarre. Theravada Buddhist Temples, of course, allow practitioners to stay within their interiors – being fed and cared for free – providing there is space. Absolutely NO money is asked for or required (a Buddhist monastic must not touch money of any type). Not all Buddhist Temples follow this idea outside of Thailand, Sri Lanka, or Laos, etc, but they should do.

Canadian photojournalist Valérie Zink has resigned from Reuters after eight years, describing her decision as a “cry of conscience” against what she called media complicity in Israel’s crimes in Gaza.

Canada: Journalist Valérie Zink Resigns from Reuters in Gaza Due To Its Complicity with Israeli War Crimes! (26.8.2025)

Zink accused Reuters of justifying and enabling the systematic assassination of 245 Palestinian journalists, saying major western outlets have become a “conveyor belt for Israeli propaganda.” She added: “I cannot wear the Reuters press card except with shame and deep sorrow.”

Her testimony stressed that western media silence has not protected correspondents but instead gave Israel the green light to intensify its double bombings against hospitals, schools, paramedics, and journalists, turning words and cameras into legitimate targets in the genocide war on Gaza.
