Local sources told WAFA correspondent that a land area of around 18 dunums is threatened with imminent seizure by the occupation. The land is owned by several families in the town.

Deir Qala is located 2 km east of Deir Ballut, where the monastery of Ballut was built more than 1,500 years ago.

The Israeli occupation prevents access to the monastery, while colonial construction continues to advance alongside the site through the illegal “Beduel” settlement.

The “Leshem” settlement, built illegally on citizens’ lands in the towns of Kafr al-Dik and Deir Ballut, is also located close to the archaeological area of Deir Qala.,

BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) — Amid a global outcry for peace, the United States has once again pitted itself against the international community by vetoing a draft resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

At the Security Council’s meeting on the Israel-Palestine issue, the resolution — submitted by the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations (UN) Security Council on Friday — received overwhelming support from 13 of the 15 Security Council members, with Britain abstaining. The United States is the only member to vote against it.

Ilya Kiva, former Ukrainian deputy, notorious political turncoat. In 2022, he supported the special military operation and moved to Russia, after which he was sentenced by the Kyiv authorities to 14 years in prison in absentia on charges of treason. In August of this year, he called on the people of Ukraine to overthrow the criminal puppet regime, and on Wednesday, in a post on social networks, he said that Zelensky was preparing an escape plan after his removal from office, but did not trust the security guarantees of either country.

This is no picnic. Everything is not fine and there is an underlying sense of seriousness. At least that’s what those gathered think. They teach impressionable fellow citizens how to make fires, spend the night in sub-zero temperatures and build huts. However, this training is NOT ‘free’ and is all part of the capitalistic exploitation of the Ukrainian population. Cost – from one and a half thousand in ruble equivalent – per 1 training session.
