The late comrade Ammar Bakdash (1954-2025) was one of the most prominent Arab communist leaders who carried the banner of the international struggle with rare firmness and sincerity. He graduated from the class struggle school since joining the Syrian Communist Party in 1969, and was raised in the arms of Marxism-Leninism, where he completed his postgraduate studies in the Soviet Union, holding a doctorate in economic sciences from Moscow State University.
This militancy is directly equal to the suppressive-force that has produced it – but is it relevant, required, or legitimate for a mass working class movement to be effective? Remember, Karl Marx firmly rejected pointless acts of terrorism – which he defined as being separate and distinct from the acts of genuine working class self-defence. The point is that the working class must possess iron-like discipline if it is to achieve its objectives within a bourgeois society. Pointless acts of individualistic “terrorism” ultimately achieve nothing positive, and always lead to the working class being collectively punished for the actions of a few. Now, on the Bronx Anti-War site, and many others like it, there is a general eulogising of the actions of one “Elias Rodriguez” – a Hispanic-American man. Indeed, there is a very well-developed “Free Elias Rodriguez” Campaign much to my astonishment.
On Bank Holiday Monday (May 5th 2025) we spent most of the day at the local petting farm known as Hobbledown (in Epsom). For about four-years (2005-2099), I taught Taijiquan at a nearby leisure centre twice a week – so I know the area well. Furthermore, throughout the years, we have regularly took our children to interact with the animals and for them to have fun in the huge soft play hosted in-doors. Of course, there has been a massive investment and restructuring at Hobbledown which has been very successful at a time when the economy is in melt-down and political incompetence is at an all-time high. It is well designed, with plenty of different animals living in wide open well-managed spaces.
What it all comes down to is this – class enemies are class enemies – regardless of the colour of their skin, and we should not become confused by this. A non-White person is not necessarily our ally – and a White person is not necessarily our enemy. Watch and listen – see how they act and comprehend their mind-set and intentions. Have no doubts about this – be dialectically certain, strong, and direct. Adjust yourself to circumstances, continue to prevail, and do not allow the enemy any easy victories. Fight them mentally, fight them emotionally, fight them physically – and always ascertain the right time to perform each allotted task. Do not compromise working-class dignity and always strive for change and the defeat of the false consciousness the bourgeoisie imposes all the time. Never inwardly or outwardly surrender! Remain “free” even in a prison cell!

In order to make the first pot of gold as soon as possible, he split and packaged the confidential electronic data, established a data directory, and opened multiple platform accounts to collect the stolen money; after that, he bought non-real-name IC cards and several SIM cards, constantly changed the communication channels, and even used multiple aliases to cover up his identity.
Watch these deceivers for a long enough time curve – and their duplicity will finally be exposed. Whilst unfairly criticising President Assad – the brutality of the Zionists and ISIS – both controlled by the US – is played-down and trivialised. Everything is about how “bad” Assad was supposed to be – whilst there is a crushing “silence” as to the reality of Zionist-fascism and Islamo-fascism! It is a weakness of the contemporary Communist movement that idiots such as these can still self-proclaim themselves leaders of the masses – when they are corrupt from top to bottom.
