Under Socialism – many of these countries (including Hungary) were considered exceptional footballing nations. Socialism prefers non-exploitative sport to build nations from the ground up. Obviously, we currently have to exist in a world of capitalist exploitation – but surely – when the ball is in free motion we are just as free in our minds and bodies! Socialism is just around the corner! Come on England!
