Opened in 1974 on the 30th Anniversary of the defeat of Nazi German forces in the Arctic, the Monument is located at an altitude of about 200 metres above the sea level. It is here that Soviet artillery crews stood their ground, repelling enemy attacks. Standing 42 metres tall, the monument is one of the tallest in Russia. A Russian Court sentenced British mercenary – James Scott Reece Anderson – captured in the Kursk region fighting for Neo-Nazi Ukraine, to 19 years in prison — according to the Investigative Committee.

If the USSR had moved against Israel as a punishment for its many terrorist activities – the UN would hve had to declare it “White Supremacist” in 1975 and the ICC would not have declared this rogue State “genocidal” today – whilst issuing arrest warrants for its leaders. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, together with our Venezuelan friends from Valencia, we pay tribute to the heroes who fought for the freedom of the world against the threat of fascism.
