I think the Royal Navy and RNPS acted in parallel around the UK – as I remember two Royal Navy ships working at exactly the same time during WWII – both holding exactly the same name of “HMS Beaumaris Castle” (but with different registration numbers). The point was that the war with Nazi Germany caught the UK government by surprise and there was not enough time (nor was there the resources) for the government to build proper military-grade mine-sweepers. Fishing vessels were acquired and thousands of volunteers called for to immediately defend the UK coastline. Those men who volunteered were permitted to “choose” to serve in the RNPS – rather than being placed wherever the government most needed men. The above extract sheds light on how the RNPS was first formed in 1939.

Influenced by him, my father aspired to come to China, where he met my mother and later had me," said Michael Crook, chairman of the International Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives. His parents, David and Isabel Crook, played an important role in training a large number of foreign-language professionals for China. "The spirit of Bethune has not faded with time; instead, it has been widely inherited and carried forward in both China and Canada," said Hu Jinqiang, director of the North China Military Martyrs Cemetery. Hu noted that today Bethune is not just a name but a symbol of internationalism, humanism and selfless dedication. "We commemorate him to inspire more people to remember history and carry forward his spirit."

This year marks the 85th death anniversary of Bethune, who died of blood poisoning at the age of 49 on Nov. 12, 1939 in China while aiding the Chinese people in their fight against Japanese aggression. His remains were relocated to the cemetery in 1953.

The commemoration began at 10 a.m., with participants bowing before the surgeon’s tomb and presenting flower baskets.

Between 1933-1939 – Nazi German and Polish troops routinely carried-out joint military exercises whilst sharing fascistic ideology and political aspiration. Indeed, this cooperation between the Poles and the Germans reached a peak in 1938 when both countries staged a joint-invasion of Czechoslovakia! Despite all this agreement and alignment of policy – Hitler betrayed Poland in 1939 (on the grounds that Poles could not be Aryans) – whilst for some inexplicable reason, Churchill came to the aid of the Fascist Poles, misleading the British public by falsely implying that Poland was a country something similar to Surrey or Kent (containing a population that played Cricket and sipped warm beer on the Village Green)! Around 1946, the Pope requested that the UK quietly take upwards of 10,000 Nazi Ukrainian War Criminals taking refuge with the Catholic Church.

The wise amongst us are keeping our heads down and resisting in any way we can. Official support for Neo-Nazi Ukraine (even by the left in the UK) has been tantamount to the UK supporting Hitler in 1939. The US is extending NATO into Eastern Europe through the agency of fascism due to its hatred of Russia. As for Palestine, there is a clear example that non-White people can be systematically subjected to a genocide by a White people following a religiously motivated form of fascism! The Bourgeoisie has really got its act together nowadays!

The idea of the British Bourgeois Establishment fervently opposing Russia and offering limitless accommodation and resources to fascist degenerates is nothing new! Even after the UK had declared war on Nazi German during late 1939 – the UK media soon forgot about Hitler and turned its maniacal guns upon the USSR! Today, I wrote about the ‘revisionism’ expressed in the bourgeois literature issued by the ‘International Brigades Memorial Trust’ (IBMT) whose propagandists are always agitating against the ‘Socialist’ nature of these military units through their work which continuously plays-down the importance of the USSR in the fight against fascism in Spain. Richard Baxell, for example, without offering ANY historical background or context – seems to think that the British Veterans of the International Brigades should have supported the various post-1945 Neo-Nazi Uprisings across Eastern Europe whilst opposing the USSR – as perverse as that sounds! Contrary to the dreams of the far-right – it would appear that the term “Fifth Column” first appeared in a “Communist” (Spanish) newspaper during late 1936. The implication seems to evolve around Catholic duplicity and the Vatican’s open support for the fascist movement! As Catholics were everywhere – and were guided by their Catholic Priests – there was a perpetual threat to the democratically elected “Socialist” government “from within” or from “behind”! Just as the Catholic Church is guiding (and encouraging) far-right activists (Neo-Nazis) to travel from around the world to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) today – it also carried out exactly the same “recruiting” roll during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939)!
