In 1941, the Sikh Police Officers who served the British Authorities in Hong Kong turned on their employers and assisted the imperial Japanese to commit all kinds of atrocities against the British and ethnic Chinese locals. The Sikhs were then “expelled” as a distinct ethnic group from all British Armed Forces for the duration of WWII. Yes – the Sikhs took the side of fascism during WWII – whilst rejecting any form of secular Socialism. Later, individual Sikhs who had settled in England were allowed to join the British Military – but never again were groups of Sikhs allowed to form ethnic-specific military units. There is talk of a “People’s Party” in the main article – but if this is left-wing is open to debate – as the far-right is currently stealing virtually all left-wing ideas terminology in its drive to inflict fascism once again upon the world
