The announcement, made late on Thursday, leaves virtually no time for meaningful public scrutiny or legal challenge, and has sparked renewed accusations that the Council is attempting to rush through contentious planning decisions under cover of urgency.

Residents were given just two days to object to the application – a dramatically shorter consultation window than normal – and campaigners say the newly approved certificate appears almost identical to the one ruled unlawful by the High Court just last week.

In its statement, Lambeth Council claimed the new certificate had been submitted “in a different context and format,” and insisted the current use of the park for summer events is now lawful.

As Gee has worked in Rescue-Centres many moons ago – she was able to do a full assessment of the bird’s fitness – and this bird passed with flying colours! We teach our pets to be kind to one another and so the cat had not bitten the bird in any place on the body (we think it is a female Black-Bird). The wings were intact, the feet strong, the beak sharp, and the temperament calm and attentive. I held the bird for about 30 minutes whilst the bird calmed down, stood-up and sorted itself-out. Gee then took the bird outside to near where the cat caught the bird – and it stood on her hand for a few seconds, gave a squawk and away it went! This bird flew safely into a high tree and we hope it will now have a good and long life!

The British NHS is now system that manages illnesses rather than cures them, blames the sick and the injured for the maladies they suffer, and slowly accommodates death rather than prevents it. GPs (doctors) see all their patients as scroungers who are a drain on their profit-making. We literally have to audition for our health. If we get the balance of humour and concern just right – we might be thrown a banana. Of course, we are told, “private” healthcare is the answer to all our problems. If you know private healthcare you will understand this is not true in anyway. When China gave its poorest citizens an inoculation for lung cancer – Trump (first time around) declared this “an example of the evil of Socialism!” The story below is of a 61-year old man who injured his back. There is no way the British NHS would finance this type of treatment. And herein lies the difference between UK capitalism and Chinese Socialism!

Of course, the deficient mind-set of Trump is informed using American-English and the anti-intellectualism that encourages. Imagine that – White racists are deemed “victims” of the toxic environment they helped to build in South Africa – then brought to America as conquering heroes! Mind you, the UK has been bringing-in (Neo-Nazi) Eastern Europeans and privileging then for years – punishing the impoverished (indigenous) population if it dares to complain or speak-out. Demonising the opposition – and preventing any countering answer – is the nature of the game today. If my leg is cut-off, its my fault for having two-legs in the first place – as I can always get about quite happily on one leg (NHS take note). This is the bizarre (superficial) world we now inhabit – where objective truth is whatever the powerful and the wilful mob decide it to be. He noted that 183 countries have established official diplomatic relations with China on the basis of the one-China principle. Ahead of this year’s WHA session, many countries sent letters to the WHO reaffirming their support for this principle. This fully demonstrates that the one-China principle embodies the broad consensus of the international community.

China’s central government has always attached great importance to the well-being of Taiwan compatriots. Provided that the one-China principle is upheld, technical experts from Taiwan Province face no obstacles to participating in WHO activities, he added.

The so-called claim of a “gap” in the international pandemic prevention system is inconsistent with the facts and is purely a political manipulation, he said.
