Church Blankeying-Bombing Nazi Germany - 1940

UK: Honeywood Museum – [1940] How Churchill Initiated “Saturation” [Blanket] Bombing of Civilian Areas of Nazi Germany! (24.2.2026)

It could well be the case that “Croydon” was mistakenly presented as “Kenley” on the Luftwaffe maps – not that it mattered as both were legitimate “military” targets – and that the map included the old boundary markers that had subsequently shifted – with the land now defining the active aerodrome being redefined into other areas. What was once aerodrome land running across the old periphery – was now Council-owned land comprising of civilian houses and civic roads run through – and around it. Total Luftwaffe strength in August 1940 was between 2000-2,200 fighter, fighter-bomber, and bomber aeroplanes – often flying around 1000 sorties per day against the UK Mainland. Luftwaffe losses (for August 15th 1940) amounted to 76 aircraft across all engagements – while the RAF lost just 34. With the specific attack upon Croydon – 14 Bf 110s and 8 Bf 109s Luftwaffe aeroplanes were involved (some sources suggest the number was between 20-30 – the record is unclear) – these are the Luftwaffe crews that supposedly bombed the civilian population. It is said that the Nazi German losses amounted to 25% across the board – so over Croydon this would have amounted to around 6 aircraft – a small number compared to Luftwaffe losses across the region.

Paignton: Hadleigh Court Care Home – Care Quality Commission [CQC] Latest Report – “Requires Improvement” – Do Not Send Your Relatives Here! (7.2.2026)

The now “all White” staff took exception to my father’s daughter in law being “Chinese” – and his two grand daughters being of mixed heritage. As old and disabled as he is, my father would get up, wash, get dressed, and order a taxi to my mother’s home to see us (here, my father expressed the will-power that saw his father land in the first wave of British troops on D-Day – and survive) – as he did not want Gee, Mei-An, or Kai-Lin subjected to the normalised racism that was now rampant in the home. As my father stood his corner – a semi-paralysed man in his 80s – the Manager of Hadleigh Court issued him with an Eviction Order – laughably asserting that he is “racist”! Recently, on a routine hospital check – the Manager of Hadleigh court refused for my father to be allowed back into the home. Hadleigh Court was assisted in this by the equally corrupt Torbay Social Services – so nothing new there. As a result of all this, my father is in Torbay Hospital with Social Services refusing to let other care homes take him – as we are a family “prone to complaining”! And that is where things stand. South Devon is a fairly backward area and so the impoverished masses are easily controlled by a few rich people and their Authoritarian lackeys. They do not like the workers standing up to their oppression – but standing up to oppression is what we do best. Do not allow your loved one to be plunged into the dungeon that is Hadleigh Court under this current Manager and staff regime. Hit the capitalists were it hurts – in the purse. It is the only pain that matters to them – as they do not care about the very real pain that their greed and racism inflicts on us. Still, we do not want sympathy from others – as we are all in the same boat – and we certainly do not want your money. We, instead, express our solidarity to every worker who is currently suffering oppression and violence at the hands of the capitalists – an oppression that has not been reduced under the rule of a right-wing Labour government. My mother – Diane Wyles – who is in her late 70s, is bravely fighting a rear-guard action against the corruption of the UK Authorities. Whave each other – tha is all that matters!

White Poppy - End All Wars!

UK: Armistice Day – Popping-Out for Abit! (11.11.2025)

Of course, workers and peasants have periodically fought for their rights over hundreds or thousands of years, with the movements varying in size and strength. From rioting in the town square to full on and widespread uprisings. The historians of the feudal or bourgeois state, however, will have none of this, and will try to force you to remember only those wars and conflicts which reflect the will of the reactionary State. This is what Poppy Day in the UK is all about – and explains why we try to co-opt it for our own working class ends. We are shifting the onus away from middle class hypocrisy and toward working class practicality. That is all there is to it. No only this, but we are fighting Trotskyism and all working class reaction that wants to see all Socialism ended in the UK – rather than repaired, extended, and strengthened. Fighting the enemies lurking within the working class is as important as fighting the enemies outside the working class. Perhaps Chairman Mao had a thing or two to say about this.

Arthur Gibson - RNPS

WWII: 1939 Founding of the Royal Navy Patrol Service [RNPS]! (26.5.2025)

I think the Royal Navy and RNPS acted in parallel around the UK – as I remember two Royal Navy ships working at exactly the same time during WWII – both holding exactly the same name of “HMS Beaumaris Castle” (but with different registration numbers). The point was that the war with Nazi Germany caught the UK government by surprise and there was not enough time (nor was there the resources) for the government to build proper military-grade mine-sweepers. Fishing vessels were acquired and thousands of volunteers called for to immediately defend the UK coastline. Those men who volunteered were permitted to “choose” to serve in the RNPS – rather than being placed wherever the government most needed men. The above extract sheds light on how the RNPS was first formed in 1939.

The Red Flag Flies Over Red Square!

Russia: May 9th “Victory Over Fascism” – 80th [1945-2025] Commemoration! (9.5.2025)

From 1942-1945 he fought everyday in the North Atlantic. Recently, the “Russian Arctic Convoy Museum” – voted to remove the word “Russian” from its title – can you believe that? I stood with Veterans of these fine and brave men at the Soviet War Memorial in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum – and everyone of them had a positive viewpoint of the USSR and Russia. Like my grandfather (Arthur Gibson) these brave men were not permitted to march at the London Cenotaph (primarily by the Royal British Legion) due to their association with the Soviet Union. Ironically, the Soviet War Memorial was unveiled in 1999 – when “New” Labour was still pretending to be “left-wing”! Finally, all those loyal British military Veterans who had fought alongside our Soviet allies during WWII – were permitted a spot where they could finally parade and carry their flags with honour and dignity!

Soviet Arctic Monument

USSR: Vladimir Putin Lays Flowers at the Soviet Arctic Monument! (27.3.2025)

Opened in 1974 on the 30th Anniversary of the defeat of Nazi German forces in the Arctic, the Monument is located at an altitude of about 200 metres above the sea level. It is here that Soviet artillery crews stood their ground, repelling enemy attacks. Standing 42 metres tall, the monument is one of the tallest in Russia. Also on display at the site are anti-aircraft guns, neighboured by a sloped triangular pyramid symbolising a flag at half-mast in mourning.
