As improbable as it may seem, a number of deficient (White) Englishmen and Scotsmen live in Thailand – and yet are notorious racists who routinely express anti-migrant rhetoric on their social media platforms. By “anti-migrant” – I mean “non-White” migrants living in the UK. The lie is that all crime is committed by non-Whites – whilst the reality is that the in a White-majority country – the majority of the crime is committed by “Whites”. The problem is that the ignorant racists are quite happy to accept the rancid myths of racism instead of carrying-out research into the reality of society (and read “Das Kapital” written by Karl Marx). The far-right racist are quite happy with White migrants who hold Neo-Nazi viewpoints, such as the Poles, Ukrainians, Estonians and Romanians, etc, Neo-Nazis who are welcomed with open-arms even though they represent entirely alien (and unfamiliar) ethnic groups and cultures. Liu Junying, head of the 25th batch of the Chinese medical team, said his team, which began work at Tirunesh-Beijing Hospital in May 2024, has been delivering medical services to Ethiopian communities as part of the long-standing Sino-Ethiopian health cooperation. He further reiterated China’s commitment to sending successive medical teams to provide healthcare for Ethiopians in need, while also sharing expertise with local medical professionals. The newly dispatched 26th Chinese medical team, consisting of 16 specialists across various fields, continues China’s medical mission to Ethiopia, which has been serving the local population since the 1970s.

If this was the case, why did the Buddha reject Brahmanism? Why did the Buddha bite the hand that fed him? Well, he practiced all the available meditative paths, mastered them all, and realised none of them expressed the ultimate truth. He carried-on training in meditation as the Upanishads advised – and saw through all the conditioning of his mind, body, and environment. He gave up caste privilege and all work for money. He knew that this would lead to starvation, homelessness, and nakedness. He resolved these issues by dressing himself in rags found in the charnel grounds (the clothing of dead who were to poor to be cremated), he acquired the skull-cap of a dead person and used it as a begging bowl as he walked from village to village quietly requesting waste-food on a daily basis, and he sat under the foot of a tree when he meditated. The Buddha left society and lived on the forested outskirts of Hindu society. Of course, the Buddha still physically lived in India, and interfaced with Hindu society, but he did this under a completely new contract of understanding.

Imperial Japan invaded China between 1931-1945 – with history demarcating various points of this invasion as being specific. For instance, in December 1937, the Imperial Japanese Army turned its guns on the Nationalist-controlled Nanjing – the then capital-city of China. Although the West was not yet directly involved in the war against Imperial Japan, by and large the US and UK (amongst others) agitated against Japan in favour of China. This led to a number of air-raid shelters being constructed in the Nanjing area – designed for ordinary Chinese people to take cover when the Imperial Japanese Airforce began to blanket-bomb the civilian population of the city. Today, these shelters are maintained to a very high degree and are popular historical tourist attractions. Whereas the UK government has done NOTHING to assist the British population regarding the current heat-wave (Indeed, the UK Labour government sat in the air-conditioned Parliament and voted to cut the Benefits received by the old, disabled, and vulnerable throughout the country). This is an interesting juxtaposition between the predatory capitalism of the UK and the Socialism as practiced by Socialist China.

When his supervisor suggested exploring more natural methods to treat carbon emissions, Deng immediately thought of that land. “I thought, why not capture carbon emissions and use them to fix alkaline soil?” he said.

His department thought the idea was unconventional, but his proposal won support. Li Ping, Party chief of the university’s college of safety and emergency management and engineering, said that the topic addresses local economic needs.

“We encourage our researchers to innovate and solve practical problems. We don’t restrict them in terms of research direction.”

Still, the road wasn’t smooth. Just collecting sufficient varieties of saline-alkaline soil turned out to be a challenge.

“That’s when the Party really stepped in,” Deng said. “Grassroots Party organizations helped connect me with locals who knew where to find the land I needed.”

“The CPC keeps renewing itself and adapting to the times. It’s vibrant and full of energy — and that’s why so many young people are drawn to it,” Deng said.
