This recruitment drive is part of an action plan the government launched in 2018 to enhance the quality of rural education by employing retired educators to teach in rural areas.
According to the statement, the drive will be aimed mainly at retired principals, teaching research staff and experienced teachers aged up to 65.
Teaching professionals recruited under the plan will work at county, town and village schools located in places that had been lifted out of poverty, underdeveloped ethnic counties, border regions and other areas that lack sufficient education resources.
Ahead of the rallies, the Chinese embassy in Seoul expressed regret on Thursday that some politicians in South Korea are spreading disinformation. Certain far-right groups are holding demonstrations targeting China in areas such as Myeong-dong and Daerim-dong in Seoul, where Chinese tourists gather. The embassy is located in Myeong-dong.
In a statement, the embassy said that the planned rallies were ill-intentioned and against public sentiment. It noted that they were held on a festive occasion when Chinese people celebrate National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, while South Koreans celebrate the National Foundation Day and Chuseok holidays.
The embassy urged the South Korean government to guarantee the safety and lawful rights and interests of Chinese citizens in the country.

Collett has seemingly dropped his UK focused “news round-up” streams. However, he has streamed with Robin Tillbrook, leader of the far-right English Democrats and a practising solicitor to discuss stories of white people arrested or otherwise harassed by police for social media posts or “defending themselves against migrants”. These stories are often exaggerated or even outright fabricated and used to feed far-right outrage.
“UCMs, coupled with secondary sanctions and over-compliance, exacerbate existing humanitarian and economic challenges, gravely affect the stability of the global production and supply chains, as well as food, energy and financial security, and seriously undermine the world economic order and the efforts of the countries concerned to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” said Fu.

Remember the research into why it was that certain “White” working class populations appeared to be suffering from genetic diseases whilst living near mobile telephone masts – when no such damage was recorded from these mechanisms during extensive scientific trials. It turned-out this DNA problem had nothing to do with the radiation from mobile telephone towers – but was the consequence of indigenous White groups choosing to interbreed amongst brothers, sisters, fathers, daughters, and cousins, etc.
