China: Commemorative Stamps Issued Marking 130th Anniversary of Mao Zedong’s Birth – 纪念毛泽东同志诞辰130周年! (26.12.2023)

BEIJING, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) — China Post will issue a commemorative stamp set on Tuesday to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Mao Zedong.

A total of 7.8 million of these stamp sets, with a denomination of 4.8 yuan (about 68 U.S. cents) for each set, can be purchased at designated postal outlets and online shops over the next six months.

Each set contains four stamps, featuring the themes of persistence in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, construction of the Ming Tombs Reservoir, the holding of a global vision, and returning to the Jinggangshan Mountains.

Mao was born on Dec. 26, 1893 and died on Sept. 9th, 1976.

Although Buddhism is apolitical – in the rel world even an apolitical entity has a political function – even if that function involves the permanent position of ‘opposing’ any and all manifestations of human ignorance known as “political” structures! What are these structures? These unwanted structures are any manifestations premised upon greed, hatred, and delusion, and which function within the inverted world of dualistic being. Such constructs are inherently suffering producing and are not conducive to human happiness. This is why Buddhists strive to uproot greed, hatred, and delusion from their minds and bodies – and in so doing generate the conditions for a better outward world. Gee: “1993” School Project Regarding “Hong Kong” – Coins & Stamps! (23.11.2023)

Therefore, we reject Bourgeois notions of ‘nationalism’ – whilst recognising the ‘International’ identity of the Working-Class! It is a resounding irony that whilst Gee delivers hundreds of babies within the British NHS – many of the parents of those babies actively work to have Gee expelled from the UK premised entirely on her bodily differences – whilst simultaneously welcoming in to the UK thousands of Chinese ‘criminals’ who recently participated in the US-derived riots in Hong Kong! These are just some of the dialectical paradoxes that we live within.

BMA (UK): IJAN Charter! (21.11.2023)

Israel, once a vehicle for the British and French assault on Arab unity and independence, is now a junior partner in the US-allied strategy for world military, economic and political control, specifically for domination of the strategic Middle-East/Southwest Asia region. The danger of nuclear war through a US/Israeli attack on Iran reminds us that Israel is an atomic bomb that should be urgently dismantled for the sake of saving the lives of all its current and potential victims.

Laos News: Syria and Cuba Sign Agreement for Diplomatic Cooperation! (20.11.2023)

The clauses stipulate work to create an atmosphere of friendship and collaboration, while supporting the professional development of diplomatic personnel from both countries.

The text also stipulates the organization of diplomatic visits and consultations at various levels to enhance dialogue and cooperation on matters of mutual interest and concern.

These visits may involve exchanges between diplomats, experts and government officials to foster a deeper understanding of each country’s foreign policy priorities, the agreement predicts.

The document signing ceremony was attended by Vice Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh, the directors of the Foreign Ministry, the ambassadors and heads of the diplomatic missions of the Latin American countries accredited in Syria, as well as the Cuban diplomats in the island’s mission in Syria.
