Palestine is a mirror of our struggle against occupation and colonialism

Religion is a major contributing factor to all world conflicts (be it Judaism, Christianity, or Islam). Support for one side other another should not be taken to automatically imply siding with the religion of that preferred side. Under Biden, for instance, Colombia appeared untroubled by America’s official Russophobia and its support for Neo-Nazi Ukraine – but since the advent of Trump II’s overt and pronounced anti-Colombian racism at home (ICE) and abroad – perhaps this has switched the pendulum firmly in the other direction. Who knows? The Vatican has longevity and even got away with supporting Mussolini and Hitler before, during, and after WWII!

China: BBC “Editing Scandal” Deepens Credibility Crisis! (15.11.2025)

The controversy erupted after The Daily Telegraph revealed an internal BBC memo showing that an October 2024 Panorama episode, Trump: A Second Chance?, had stitched together two segments of Trump’s speech on Jan. 6, 2021, delivered more than 50 minutes apart. The edit created the misleading impression that Trump was directly urging supporters toward the Capitol riot, sparking public outrage and prompting The New York Times to label it as the BBC’s “worst crisis in decades.”

As a result of the identified discrepancies in this case, the BMA could not allow them entry right away, as further verifications had to be undertaken. While these processes were unfolding, vulnerable members of the travelling company were disembarked onto airconditioned busses. The Government of South Africa subsequently interacted with the Palestinian embassy and other role-players. It was established that the absence of stamps, return tickets and accommodation addresses did not indicate that the travellers wished to apply for asylum.

China: Survey Team Discovers 573 Ancient Stone Fortresses in North-West! (13.11.2025)

The survey revealed that these settlements spanned from about 2800 BC in the late Yangshao period to around 1000 BC in the Shang and Zhou (1046-221 BC) dynasties.

Mostly distributed along riverbanks, the stone fortresses were surrounded by numerous ordinary settlements without defensive stone walls, indicating a clear clustered relationship, said Ma Mingzhi, head of the team.

The development of these stone fortresses shows a clear evolution from small to large in scale, from simple to complex in layout, and from rudimentary to mature in construction techniques — with social hierarchy becoming increasingly distinct.

The survey provides crucial information for a comprehensive understanding of the origin, development, spread and evolution of prehistoric settlements in northern China, Ma added.
