When a child, my father taught me all the rules of cricket and this is why I know a) how to play the game, and b) what is going on when watching it (we support Leicestershire County Cricket Club – and we watched them play once). I have tried to teach my partner and children – but the modern youth now have the internet to take their attention! I have played “in-door” cricket – as well as cricket on a proper pitch – and I never wore a helmet (I couldn’t afford one). When standing at the crease – the mind must be calm and expansive – clear and reflective. Peace and self-control must permeate reality – whilst the bat and ball must be properly utilised in a technically perfect manner. There is no hatred for the opposition – or unnecessary attachment to one’s team-mates – all are equal to the true gentleman. This is why I refer to cricket as a form of English Confucianism!

Charles I is not the same person as Charlie Kirk – why would you think these two men are the same person? Kirk is his second name and not an alternative word for a Church – idiot. Well? You keep bleating on about the far-right being stupid and anti-intellectual – but here you are talking trash about the great Charlie Kirk – who was murdered by out of control leftists controlled by Tel Aviv. And yes, I know that recently I have started back-peddling away from my usual antisemitic attitudes – but you would do the same if one of your colleagues was shot for just wanting to express his freedom of speech. What happened in 1600s England has NOTHING to do with what happened in 2025 in Utah! Indeed, Parliament ordered the block be made “lower” than is usual – so that the King had to kneel closer to the ground in submittance to the people. With his chin placed in the notch – his face was positioned “toward the floor”. Therefore, the blow that finished him-off came from behind (entry wound) and “exited” through the front of the neck. If film existed – this is exactly what the footage would show. A sudden screech from crowd was let-out as the axe fell and Charlie’s head dropped with one, clean blow. The people of England had fought a series of wars regarding freedom of speech – and had collectively executed their King because they disagreed with what he thought and said. Those who believe Charlie was struck from front must surely be mistaken. The evidence supports the position that Charlie’s death was caused by a substantial blow to the back of the neck. The eruption of blood to his front would support this analysis. By killing Charlie – the English people ensured freedom of speech then – and for all time!
