Torquay: Moses Wave Man – My Dad is a Modern-Day Wizard – and He Has Made a Post! (24.7.2025)

Remarkably, despite being right-handed, from 72 onwards, he re-learned how to do everything with his left-hand. Recently, he has been in and out of hospital in Torbay a number of times – with NHS staff stabilising his health and allowing him to go back out “waving” in the Bay. However, the visits are becoming far more frequent and I have started to receive enquiries about his health – even from the local and national media! Typical of my Dad, (he taught us to always find a way through the current hardship), he is dictating the content of his latest posts to whichever family member is visiting him. Hopefully, he will rise again for one more good round – and demonstrate his mettle and grit yet again!

Gaza: Zionists Sanction OCHA for Exposing Genocidal “Starvation” Policy! (24.7.2025)

UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher told the Security Council last week that movement requires navigating an obstacle course of coordination with Israeli forces, through active hostilities, traveling on damaged roads, and often being forced to wait at holding points or pass through areas controlled by criminal gangs.

“All too often, civilians approaching UN trucks are shot at,” OCHA said. “Collecting supplies safely requires reliable assurances that troops would not engage or be present along convoy routes.”

Israeli UN ambassador Danny Danon, speaking at the Security Council, announced restrictive measures against OCHA staff.

Israel will no longer grant automatic visas to OCHA’s international staff. Visas will now be limited to one-month terms, said Danon.

Stephane Dujarric, chief spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, said that any punitive measures will only add to the obstacles preventing humanitarians from reaching people facing hunger, displacement and deprivation.

China: Socialist Science Plans to Venture Farther into Deep Space by Exploring Mars, Jupiter, Uranus & Neptune! (24.7.2025)

“Ice giants preserve pristine gaseous materials that record the evolutionary history of protostellar clouds and crucial information about planetary formation. These planets serve as vital subjects for studying the solar system’s origins and exoplanets,” Yang Mengfei, a senior scientist at the China Academy of Space Technology in Beijing and chief designer of the Chang’e 5 lunar mission, told China Daily in an exclusive interview. An ice giant is a colossal planet composed mainly of elements heavier than hydrogen and helium, including oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and sulphur. Two planets in the solar system, Uranus and Neptune, are categorized as ice giants. According to Yang, Uranus has the coldest atmospheric temperature in the solar system, with a minimum of about minus 224 C, and the most tilted rotation axis among all planets in the solar system. Meanwhile, Neptune, the farthest planet from the sun, has the strongest surface winds, reaching speeds of up to 2,100 kilometres per hour. Moreover, Triton, Neptune’s largest moon, is considered “the most likely extra-terrestrial body in the solar system to host microbial activity”, and may provide key clues to life’s origins.
