Nuclear Water Discharge: IAEA Denies Endorsement of Japan “Fukushima” Discharge Plan! (5.7.2023)

The IAEA will have a continued presence at the Fukushima Daiichi plant site to review, monitor and assess the discharge activities for decades to come, Grossi said, adding that whether to allow other countries to participate in the supervision is a decision to be made by the Japanese government.

During Grossi’s press conference, a group of protestors gathered outside the Japan National Press Club to voice opposition to Japan’s ocean discharge plan, shouting “The sea belongs to mankind. Don’t dump polluted water into the sea,” and “No discharge without consent. Keep your promise to the fishermen!”

At the invitation of Japan’s foreign ministry, Grossi started his four-day visit to Japan on Tuesday, including a trip to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

France: Remembering “Nahel” – Masses Take to the Streets in Protest to Police Killing of Non-White Teenager! (4.7.2023)

Nahel, who was also close to his maternal grandmother, earned money as a delivery man, according to the family’s lawyer.

He was also enrolled in a programme designed to help with the integration of young people from troubled neighbourhoods through sports, in his case rugby.

Nahel had no criminal record. The Nanterre prosecutor said there had been incidents of refusing to stop for police checks. He had been summoned to appear before a court for minors in September.

On Tuesday, police said he had caught their attention because of reckless driving.

Nahel had dropped out from school but was “no big-time bandit,” said Jeff Puech, president of the Ovale Citoyen where Nahel was enrolled.

Politico: “American Whitelash” Far from Over! (4.7.2023)

“Three years after the eruption of protests following the death of George Floyd, Lowery isn’t convinced that America is any better prepared to deal with whitelash as a political force, let alone a cultural one — particularly as we head into a sharply contentious presidential election,” the report noted.

“People have talked for years about civil war,” Lowery was quoted as saying. “We don’t have something as embedded as slavery anymore, but we’re going in diametrically opposed positions; we’re ripping ourselves apart from each other.”

“I certainly think that’s true. It’s a soft civil war. One of our historical blind spots is thinking multiracial democracy — what America should be — is a settled question. Many people are not sure of that,” added the reporter.

Israel Launches Large-Scale Military Strike on Northern West Bank! (4.7.2023)

The Palestinian side on Sunday slammed Netanyahu for his policy of motivating Israeli Settlers to commit more crimes against the Palestinians.

“Netanyahu’s boast of killing large numbers of Palestinians since the formation of his government motivates settlers to commit more of their crimes against our people,” said the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in a statement.

Since January, 24 people, most of them Israelis, have been killed in a series of attacks carried out by Palestinians, and more than 175 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed by Israeli Aggressors and Settlers, according to official figures.

The Case for Karl Marx NOT Being an Ethnic Jew! (2.7.2023)

His mother was the daughter of a Prussian (Christian) aristocrat. Marx would have experienced Judaism very much in the same objective manner that most non-Jews do – through the pages of academic books and perhaps the odd site-seeing tour. Indeed, Marx even penned an article addressing the so-called ‘Jewish Question’ – where he treats the presence (and activities) of Jews with an alarming frankness. This has led a number of commentators to treat Marx in something of a unique way, as he is simultaneously accused of being a Jew on the one-hand, and acting in an anti-Semitic (Secular) manner on the other!
