Disability Eradication – Opposing New Labour’s Fascist Policy!

This poster (published in the NSDAP’s Office of Racial Policy‘s monthly magazine Neues Volk around 1938) urges support for Nazi eugenics to control the public expense of sustaining people with genetic disorders. The poster says: “This person who suffers a hereditary disease has a lifelong cost of 60,000 Reichsmarks to the National Community. Fellow German, that is your money as well.”

People possessing disabilities are human-beings existing within special or unique circumstances. This means that their physicality (and its functionality) is limited in some ways – whilst enhanced in others. Usually, outstanding inabilities and abilities are targeted by mainstream society for modes of discrimination designed to “exclude”. Exclusion is the key through which mainstrem society “regulates” the lives of those people who possess disabilities. Disability is treated as an “error” that requires to be “controlled” with a view to its complete “eradication”. Adolf Hitler instigated a Nazi German-version of a “National Health Service” (NHS). This was an almost instantaneous transformation of German society – with wounded Veterans from WWI forming the template for “preferred” disability that must be financially and and materially supported by a grateful State (war = prestige in the fascist mind-set). Those with congenital brain and body disorders were designated as being “useless” and “life unworthy of life” by the Hitlerite regime.

Such individuals could not sell their labour in the traditional (exploitative) sense – and could not serve as soldiers in time of war. This is why the Third Reich rewarded those families who brought their disabled children to “special” hospitals for “treatment”. I once attended an exhibition held at the Imperial War Museum (Lambeth) in London – which recorded Nazi German Crimes Against Humanity. A grateful Hitlerite State provided a photograph of the child just prior to termination – so that the family had a memento to remember their former member – together with a formal letter signed by the Fuhrer himself, which “thanked” the family for their sacrifice and broke-down all the money the “termination” of the life of their disabled child had “saved” the Hitlerite State in pointless upkeep and ongoing support. The family was now “free” to work full-time for the Hitlerite State. On occasion, a photograph of the child post-lethal injection was provided to the family to give the impression the deceased were “only sleeping”.

The New Labour Project is attempting the eradication of disability by other means. The Tories and LibDems support this policy but are quite happy to see disability eradicated by the deliberate withdrawal of all financial and material support the presence of disability requires to exist within a predatory, capitalist society. This a “pretense” on multiple levels. Disabled people do not really require financial or material support – or so the New Labour thinking instructs – because all disabled people are dishonest liars who sponge-off of a gullible society. New Labour promised “Civil Rights” for all disabled people to gain the disabled vote prior to the 1997 General Election – with Tony Blair immediately reneging on this agreement once New Labour won a landslide victory. Those disabled who could – took to the streets – and were beaten by the Police and crushed by the British State. No “Civil Rights” – no “Employment Rights” – it is as simple as that. An employer can discriminate against a disabled human-being by declaring such individuals to be a “fire hazard” and a “risk” to the safety of his able-bodied employees!
