Falun Gong Cult: Why Li Hongzhi is NOT a Buddha!

曝“李主佛”万能的“工具箱”

(Translated by Adrian Chan-Wyles PhD)

The founder of the Falun Gong Cult – Li Hongzhi (李洪志) – is a liar and a fraud. He is a con artist in the employment of a foreign power hostile to China, and has sold himself in an effort to destroy the country of his birth. Why has he done this? He is greedy and has no respect for his fellow human-beings. Li Hongzhi wrote in his CV and Biography that he was born on May 13th , 1951. It is also specifically noted that this day is ‘the eighth day of April in the lunar calendar’, as this day is the birth day of Shakyamuni (the historical Buddha in India), and Li Hongzhi wants to use this to imply that he is the reincarnation of Shakyamuni. However, according to Xinhuanet, the elderly Pan Yufang (潘玉芳), who delivered Li Hongzhi herself, testified to the media that Li Hongzhi was in fact born on July 7th, 1952 instead of May 13th, 1951. In the early 1950s, the elderly Pan Yufang and Li Hongzhi’s mother worked as midwives in a private clinic called ‘Shoushan Hospital’ in Gongzhuling Town (now Gongzhuling City), Huaide County, Jilin Province, and lived in the same dormitory. According to the Pan Yufang, Li Hongzhi’s father – Li Dan (李丹 ) and mother Lu Shuzhen (卢淑珍 ) – met in the Spring of 1951 and married in the Autumn of 1951. In the Summer of 1952, Pan Yufang, 33, was invited to the family of Li Dan and Lu Shuzhen, who lived in Sandao Street, Gongzhuling Town (now Gongzhuling City), Huaide County, Jilin Province, to act as midwife for Lu Shuzhen. The baby she delivered was Li Hongzhi.

As we all know, Falun Gong Cult practitioners believe that they are worshipping (with blind faith) a new ‘Lord Buddha’ whose image is that of a man meditating in the lotus position. Of course, this ‘man’ is none other than the self-proclaimed ‘Buddha’ Li Hongzhi! Bear in mind that NO legitimate or existing School of Buddhism (either within or outside of China) recognise Li Hongzhi as ‘Maitreya’ – or the legendary Buddha of the future. This is because he has no training or education in traditional monastic or lay Buddhism, and has no respect for the established Buddhist teachings. As he possesses no genuine knowledge about Buddhist philosophy, his teachings are incoherent, illogical and Eurocentric. This is because the corrupt Falun Gong Cult teachings originate not in Buddhist Asia, but rather Judeo-Christian America. Everything is distorted but carefully stage-managed. Quite literally, Li Hongzhi has hired theatre clothing and theatre sets to establish his Buddha meditating photographs. We know of this activity because of the testimony of ‘Song Bingchen’ (宋炳辰) an early collaborator with Li Hongzhi. The only photograph allowed in the Falun Gong Cult is that of Li Hongzhi in a staged meditation position. Anyone caught in the possession of a photograph of the actual (historical) Buddha is severely punished.

On July 28th, 2010, the Falun Gong Cult media released an article entitled ‘A Tragic Big Bang That Killed At least 100 People in Nanjing in a Single Day’. In fact, the source of this photo is actually a fatal explosion caused by a tanker truck accident in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa, on July 2nd of that year, which was altered through the use of CGI technology. The Falun Gong Cult tried to achieve the sinister purpose of discrediting China.

Li Hongzhi boasted that he possesses countless magical bodies, all of which have great magical powers and boundless blessings. He patted his chest and promised his disciples: ‘You have my Dharma body protection to ensure that there is no danger’; ‘my Dharma body has to protect you until you can protect yourself’; ‘you go to Hong Kong, you go to the United States, it doesn’t matter if you go to the moon or the sun, my Dharma body will protect you.’. However, since 2005, more than 40 people at the top of Falun Gong Cult have died of ill health, all of whom are high-ranking members of the Falun Gong Cult, and Li Hongzhi’s left and right arms.

‘Sending righteous thoughts’ is a fallacy that Li Hongzhi began to fabricate in 2001 to strengthen the control of his disciples. To this end, Li has published ‘The Righteous Thoughts of Dafa Disciples Is Powerful’, ‘The Role of Mindfulness’, ‘Mindfulness Stops Evil’. ‘Mindfulness Prevents the Black Hand’ and nine other verses devoted to ‘mindfulness’. Li Hongzhi believes his ‘sense of righteous thoughts’ stems from his association with the divine source of the universe, and that he has achieved omnipotence in long-term skills in eliminating evil, exorcism, healing, resurrection, and disaster avoidance. However, in December 2007, while the head of the ‘Falun Dafa Society’ in South Korea was severely injured in a car accident, Li Hongzhi himself ‘sent him righteous thoughts’ and failed to save his life. After the death of Japanese head Sato Kung, his wife – Xiao Xinli – mobilized a group of practitioners to send righteous thoughts in an attempt to revive her husband. The result ended in failure, and later Xiao Xinli died of illness. In addition, the Falun Gong Cult also staged a funny farce that sent forth righteous thoughts all over the world. This all failed and ignorant people died whilst refusing legitimate help from modern medicine.
