Kenyan Festival of Art Celebrates Confucius Institute Day

On the 26^th of September, 2014, the University of Nairobi (Kenya) held a Confucian Institute Day where Kenyan students of Chinese literature, culture and arts, gathered to demonstrate their skills.  Xinhua News Agency reporter Zhang Chenshe witnessed the displays which included a performance of the Huangmei Opera ‘Marriage of the Divine Immortals’, as well as Chinese dancing and a fashion show involving traditional Han Chinese clothing.
